Wade Thomas Allmon

Wade Thomas Allmon, 93, of Mt. Pleasant passed away, January 2, 2023 at Five Oaks Rehab Center in Concord.

A memorial service to honor his life will be held at a later date.

Wade was born in Cabarrus County September 21, 1929 to the late Jacob and Jennie Petrea Allmon. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant. During his life, he worked as a truck driver for many years. He was also a breeder and trainer of champion hunting beagles. Working with his dogs enabled him to make many friends through rabbit hunting and field trial events with his beloved beagles. Other than his dogs, his favorite hunting partner the late Carl Ellington. The pair spent many days in the field together. Yelling, tally ho! each time a rabbit was jumped. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his uncles, Paul and David Allmon.

He is survived by his wife Della F. Allmon; a daughter Jean Allmon Lambert; and grand dog Cooper.
