Troy Baxter Talley

Troy Baxter Talley, 79, of Concord, NC, passed away, Saturday, February 16 at his residence.

Memorial service will be 3:00pm, March 3, at Cold Springs United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Tony Bell. Committal will follow in the Cold Springs UMC Cemetery, Columbarium. The Talley family will begin receiving friends at 1:30pm until 2:45pm prior to the service at 3pm.

Troy was born June 10, 1939 in Cabarrus County, son of the late Jasper Baxter Tally and Dora Walter Tally. He was a member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church. Troy was the Owner-Operator of Talley Machine Shop and a US Navy Veteran. In his spare time, he loved to garden, hunt and fish. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Jonathan.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Thompson Talley; sons, Kevin Talley and wife Phoebe, Marty Talley and wife Cathy; brother, Tracy Talley and wife Carol; grandchildren, Stacy Willis(Brad), Joseph Talley, Tabitha Plummer(Aaron), David Talley(Amanda); great grandchildren, Emily, Taylor, Easton and Thomas.
