Sue Gambrell

Sue Allmon Gambrell, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 after a heroic battle with leukemia. Memorial service will be 3:00pm Monday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. Mrs. Gambrell was born October 8, 1947 daughter of the late James Wilber Allmon, Sr and Rella Burleyson Allmon. She is survived by two sons, Lewis S. Smoak and wife Sandra of Gold Hill and David A. Smoak of Mt. Pleasant, brothers, James W. Allmon, Jr, Danny Allmon and Robert Allmon, sister, Carolyn Bears and three grandchildren.
