Steven Bryce Rose

Steven Bryce Rose, age 70, of Mount Pleasant, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 17, 2024.

 Born on September 16, 1953, in Wilson County, NC, Steven was lovingly raised by his mother Ruth Bass and his step father Dan Whitley. Steven was a devoted family man who cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren above all else. He dedicated many years to his work as an electrical engineer, where his expertise and commitment were widely respected.

 In his free time, Steven found immense joy in playing music, particularly bluegrass, which brought warmth and harmony into the lives of those around him. His home was often filled with the sweet sounds of his favorite tunes, creating lasting memories for family and friends.

 Steven is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Posey Rose; his son, Steven Todd Rose; his daughter, Summer Rose; his grandchildren, Savannah and Tristyn; his brother, Jeff Whitley; as well as his nieces and nephews. His loving spirit, musical talent, and dedication to family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
