Shirley Howard Bost

Shirley Ann Howard Bost, 88, of Concord, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024. 

Funeral services will be held 3pm Monday, March 11 at Victory Temple officiated by Rev. Gary Posey. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3 prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery. 

Shirley was born January 14, 1936 in Union County to the late William Franklin and Ellie Lou Helms Howard. She was a faithful attendant of Victory Temple. She enjoyed farming, gardening and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ben Bost; sons Larry and David Bost; as well as 4 brothers and 4 sisters. 

Mrs. Bost is survived by son Michael Bost; daughters Debra Collins and Karen Carter and husband Johnny; grandchildren, Rebecca Qualls and husband Gary, Angela Carter and husband John, Chris Stancill and wife Dallas, Alisha Blevins husband Josh, Jeremiah Bost wife Meghan; 9 great-grandchildren; brother Bill Howard and wife Martha; and daughter in law Patricia Bost.
