Ruth Faggart Privette

Ruth Faggart Privette, 74 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Sunday, February 6, at Woodhaven Assisted Living in Albemarle.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday at Miami Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Lewis Whittington and Rev. Robert Howard. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Privette family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Privette was born October 31, 1947, daughter of the late Adam Faggart and Mary Jane Creed Faggart. She was a member of Miami Baptist Church. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed her time working as an assistant at the Mt. Pleasant House. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Nelson Privette and a brother Bobby Faggart.

She is survived by sons David Privette and wife Vanessa, and Jerry Privette both of Concord, daughter Lisa Hanson and husband Barry, of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Latasha, Samantha, Charlie, Chris, Amanda and Kateline, step grandchildren, Cassie, Leslie, Mary, Heather, Michelle and nineteen great grandchildren; sisters Mary Presslar and Carrie McGuire.
