Ronald Hendee

Mr. Ronald Clark Hendee, 71, Albemarle died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at CMC-Northeast. Memorial service will be 3:00pm Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Burning Bush Ministries, 8344 Franklin St., Mt. Pleasant, officiated by Rev. Mitchell Wilson; the family will receive friends following the memorial service. Mr. Hendee was born February 9, 1940 in Broome County, NY son of the late Clark Hendee and Elizabeth Glover Hendee Ron was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Ron is survived by his wife of fifty years, Geri Timson Hendee, daughters, Laurie Harvell of Concord, and Linda Benson and husband Rob of Cary, grandchildren, Clark, Emma and Megan, and his sister, Carolyn Frances and husband David of FL. He was an engineer for IBM. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Second Parenthood, a YMCA grandparent group that Ron was active in, at 28240 Hatley Farm Rd., Albemarle, NC 28001.
