Robert William Elliott

On Tuesday July 31st, 2018 the Lord said "Welcome home, my good and faithful servant" to Robert William Elliott Sr. as he left this world in Concord to spend eternity in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A memorial service for Robert will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Gordon Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant Chapel, officiated by Rev. Bill Nix. Receiving of friends prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am.

Robert was born on September 17, 1955 in Orlando Florida to Naomi Gemeinhardt Elliott Hartle and the late James William Elliott.

Robert enjoyed fishing with his beloved son Joseph and was an avid NASCAR fan. One of the fondest memories of his youth was his first car, a 1965 Shelby GT 350. 

Robert was a tremendous representative of the love of Jesus and a defender of those with no voice, the unborn children of the world.

He is survived by his mother Naomi Hartle of Concord; sons Joseph Elliott of Concord, Robert Elliott Jr. of Orlando, FL; a daughter Shelby Nicole Elliott of Orlando, FL; a brother, Steven James Elliott of Orlando, FL; and a sister, Wanda Elliott Farmer of Newton, NC.
