Robert "Bob" Dean Allman

Robert “Bob” Dean Allman, 75, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, May 25 at Atrium-Cabarrus. Funeral services will be held 3pm Friday May 28 at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, officiated by Rev. David Snow. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The Allman family will receive friends Thursday, May 27 from 4-7 at the funeral home. Mr. Allman was born October 29, 1945 in Cabarrus County to the late Paul Bowman Allman and Lonia Haithcock Allman. He worked for many years as a truck driver for Concrete Supply. He enjoyed shooting pool and raising chickens in his spare time. His grandchildren were the biggest joy in his life. He is survived by sons Rodney Allman (Bethany) and Bryan Allman; grandchildren Rodney Graham Allman, Sara Beth Allman, Nicholas Allman, Justin Allman, Carson Allman, Bryson Allman, and Jayson Allman; brothers Rayvon and Tracy Allman. In lieu of flowers memorials in Bob’s memory may be made to American Lung Association-North Carolina, 401 Hawthorne Lane, Suite 110 Charlotte, NC 28204.
