Rena Safrit

Mrs. Rena Smith Safrit, 72 of Rimer Rd., Concord, died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at CMC-Northeast. Graveside service will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, officiated by Rev. Craig Scott. The Safrit family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday evening at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Safrit was born April 2, 1938 in Concord daughter of the late Titus Smith and Mildred Skidmore Smith. She was a member of Boger United Church of Chirst. She is survived by her husband Charles Wayne Safrit, son Terry Safrit and wife Emily of Kannapolis, daughter Trena Mistretta and husband Charles of St. Petersburg, FL, sister Ann Porter and husband Clyde of Concord, grandchildren Collin Safrit, Amelia Angarano and Anson Ritchie and three great grandchildren.
