Ray Banks Misenheimer, 86, of Mt. Pleasant Rd. West, passed away Friday morning at Carebridge Assisted Living in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral service will be 1100am Monday at Gordon Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Benny Creed; burial will follow in the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity Cemetery.
The Misenheimer family will receive friends from 5-7pm Sunday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. Misenheimer was born February 16, 1927 in Cabarrus County son of the late Charlie Misenhiemer and Maggie Blackwelder Minsenheimer. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He was a master carpenter, enjoyed traveling, woodworking and antiques. He was a WWII US Navy Veteran.
He is survived by a son Kenneth Misenheimer and wife Patti, daughter, Juanita M Mullis, step daughter, Rhonda Earnhardt, grandchildren, Angie Coggins, Lisa Ford, Amanda Loan, Trisha Clutter, and John Mullis, Jr., great grandchildren, Blair Misenheimer and Tristan Coggins, Ryan and Cole Ford, Megan and Blake Loan, McKensie Clutter and Alyssa Mullis, step grandchildren Brian, Daron and Everest.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Carebridge Assisted Living and Hospice and Palliative Care for their care during Mr. Misenheimer's declining health.
