Phyllis Barbee

Phyllis Ann Williams Barbee, 77, of Concord, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at Brookdale, Clare Bridge-Concord. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday at Boger Reformed Church officiated by Rev. Dr. Donald McManus. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Barbee family will receive friends from 6-7-30 pm Wednesday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Barbee was born May 4, 1937 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Horace Williams and Lela Mae Page Armstrong. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, and a member of Boger Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Eugene "Gene" Barbee, Sr. and grandson Dustin Chase Moore. She is survived by three sons, Edward "Eddie" Louis Moore, Brent Darren Barbee, Sr. (wife Terrie) and stepson Robert Eugene "Bobby" Barbee, Jr. and a daughter Robin Barbee Stempniak (husband Shane) and seven grandchildren.
