Peggy Joyce Cranford

Peggy Shue Cranford, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday, Dec. 15 at Gordon Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Patrick McCabe. Burial will follow at Bethel (Bear Creek) Reformed Church Cemetery. The Cranford family will receive friends beginning at 10am prior to the service.

Mrs. Cranford was born May 15, 1932 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Paul F. Shue and Fannie Mae Shoaf Shue. She was a member of Bethel (Bear Creek) Reformed Church. She enjoyed making ceramics, spending time at their lake home and being with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Cranford, brothers, Blondie and Gary Shue and a granddaughter Autumn Cranford.

She is survived by two sons, Mike Cranford (Rosemary) and Aaron Cranford (Kathy); two brothers, Buck Shue and Tony Shue; four sisters, Sarah Harkey, Frankie Rowland, Sue Beaver and Marsha Barringer; grandchildren, Michael Cranford, Sara Cranford, Natalie Bailey, Jantzen Cranford, Crystal Whitmire, Rebekah Waller, Emily Morrison and Morgan Pleasants; eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
