Paul Steven "Steve" Barnhardt

Paul Steven “Steve” Barndardt, 65, of Concord passed away, Tuesday July 25, 2023 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 4pm, Saturday July 29 at Cold Springs Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Cliff Wall. The Barnhardt family will receive friends from 2-3:45 prior to the service.

Steve was born February 9, 1958 in Cabarrus County to the late Paul and Mary Walker Barnhardt. He was a lifelong member of Cold Springs Methodist Church. He was a 1976 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. Steve loved to go to work and did so for many years as an Owner/Operator of Overdrive Rebuilds. In his time away from work, he liked to rebuild old tractors, watch cowboy movies, go fishing and work in his yard mowing and gardening. Most importantly he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Steve is survived by his wife, Theresa Cook Barnhardt; sons Brandon and wife Maegan, Landon and wife Hannah, Chance and wife Lindsey; daughter Stevie Barnhardt Hunter and husband Cody; grandchildren Bailey, Peyton, Blane, Cora, Cannon and Ceely; brother Wayne and wife Deanna; and a sister Paula Baldwin.
