Norman Stone

Mr. Norman F. Stone, Sr. 62 of Concord passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2013 at CMC-Northeast, surrounded by his family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Stone was born August 11, 1950 in Orleans County, Vermont son of the late Hugh Stone and Blanche LaMonda Stone. Although his home will always be in Vermont, his heart will be here with his wife and friends have made thought the many years of living and working in North Carolina. Previous employers include Blythe Const., Blythe Development, and Keffer Chrysler in Charlotte. One of his greatest joys in life is his family and friends. He was predeceased by two brothers James Stone, Hugh Stone, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Sue) Scercy Stone, son, Norman Stone, Jr. and wife Connie, step daughter, Tammy Friend and husband Wayne, step son, Chip Hawks and wife Chrissy, brothers, Dale Stone and wife Audrey, Harley Stone and wife Cathy, sisters, Tammi Hodgdon, Julie Willey, Peggy Bly and husband Tom, Lois Menard, grandchildren, Emma, Tyler, Casey, Norman III, Krystal, Chasity, HeatherLynn, Kaylea, and Hunter.
