Norma Ann Fairchild

Norma Ann Fairchild, 80, of Concord passed away, Friday May 31, 2019 at her home, after a period of declining health.

According to her wishes no services will be held at this time.

Norma was born December 2, 1938 in Cortland County, NY to the late Claude Inman and Clara Stedman Inman.

During her life she worked for many years at Cortland Memorial Hospital preparing and packaging instruments for surgical procedures. While not working she enjoyed spending her time doing needlework and crocheting as well as reading many books and novels. In 2000 Norma moved to North Carolina from New York to be with her children, during her 19 years in North Carolina she gained many new friendships. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Milton J. Fairchild.

Norma is survived by a daughter, Judy Fairchild of Concord; sons, Douglas and James of Concord and Jeffery of Albany NY; and a sister Elsie Kruger.
