Nancy Carol White

Mrs. Nancy Rich White went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 15, 2017. Born August 3, 1939, Nancy was a resident of Mt. Pleasant, NC. Before that Nancy was a resident of Kannapolis, NC.

            Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 18 at 3:00pm at Bethel Bear Creek Reformed Church in Mt. Pleasant, NC with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, July 17 from 6pm to 8pm at Gordon Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.

            Nancy's husband of 54 years Jerry C. White, Sr. preceded her in death as well as her mother, Lena Brown Moose Rich and her father, Albert A. Rich.

            Nancy is survived by her children, Jerry C. White, Jr., Michelle W. Plummer and Jay V. White. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jerri C. White Chacon and husband Dr. David Chacon of VA., Jesse C. White, Blake Plummer and wife McKenzie (Cauble), and Jordan Plummer, all from Mt. Pleasant. Her 3 sisters also survive Nancy, Martha R. Womble (Bobby), Rosemary R. Nerren (Rick), and Margaret R. Kreimes.

            Nancy was an active member of her church and always sang in the choir.

            Nancy loved and was devoted to her family and friends and she was always a source of strength for them. She also loved to be outdoors no matter how hot the weather, she was always in her flower beds.

            Not long ago, Nancy found another little friend, her toy poodle Logan. He brought her such joy.
