Michael Wayne Rinehardt

Michael Wayne Rinehardt, Sr. 76, entered into God’s Kingdom on June14, 2024. 

A celebration of life to honor Mike’s life will be held on June 21, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM at Hillside Baptist Church located at 930 Concord Rd., Albemarle, NC 28001.

He was born on June 30, 1947, in Cabarrus County, NC., son of the late Bunzo (Jack) M. Rinehardt and Rachel Allman Rinehardt and was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Mary “Lois” Benton Rinehardt formally of Mt. Pleasant. Mike will always be remembered for love of shopping(with his sister), tinkering in his buildings, oldies music, and hobby airplanes.

 Mike is survived by his loving sons, Michael (Mike) Rinehardt, Jr. and wife Pamela, and Marty Rinehardt and wife Shanna. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Matthew Rinehardt (Laura), Paul Rinehardt (Ashley), Walker Rinehardt (Emily), McKinley Rinehardt (Colton); his beloved great-grandchildren, Levi, Reagan, Asher, Jolene, and Waylon. As well as his sisters Collette Honeycutt (Larry) and Cindy Adams (Cecil).

Mike’s kindness and passion for life touched all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
