Mary Kimble

Mrs. Mary Elinor James Kimble, 97 of Mt. Pleasant died Thursday, May 23, 2013 at her residence. Memorial service will be 3:00pm Saturday June 1, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Bruce Gwyn. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm prior to the memorial service. Mrs. Kimble was born December 28, 1915 in Delaware, OH daughter of the late Walter Ray James and Ruth Anna Woolsey. She moved to Mt. Pleasant from Florida in 2005. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. She was the past president of the IOOF Rebecca Lodge and the Ladies Order of the Eagles in Ohio. She was a former member of Faith United Methodist Church in Bradenton, FL where she was active in all church activities, especially in greeting and the Clown Ministry. She also enjoyed home care for adults and children. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie E. Kimble, and two brothers, John Franklin James and Thomas W. James. She is survived by a son David Lewis Kimble and husband Gerry Fisher of Maryland, a daughter JoAnn Kimble Hahn and husband Jerry Lanier of Mt. Pleasant, brothers, Rev. Robert E. James and wife Imogene of Anderson, IN, Richard W. James and wife Teresa of Bloomington, IN, sisters, Marjorie Ruth Ramey of Vacaville, CA and Mildred Mae Dell of Mt. Pleasant, grandchildren, Aaron and Kale Kimble of Boston, MA, J. Christine Hobgood and husband Harold of Ocean Isle, MS, Keith Alan Powell of Nashville, TN, Kevin Andrew Powell and wife Laura of Lone Jack, Mo, Jill Cathleen Boyett and husband Paul of Cario, GA, great grandchildren, Kayla Anne, Jeffrey Chase, Hunter Ryan, Cameron Hahn, Chase Matthew, Justin Turner, Terry Kendall, Kyle Eugene, and step granddaughter, Monica Campbell and husband John and their daughter Emma.
