Martha Freeman

Mrs. Martha Whitley Freeman, 97 formerly of Mt. Pleasant died Friday, September 21 at Bethany Woods in Albemarle. Funeral service will be 3:00pm Sunday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant; the family will receive friends for 2-3pm prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Freeman was born September 6, 1915 daughter of the late John P. Whitley and Mary Ada Carpenter Whitley. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence A. Freeman. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
