Marilyn Francis Long

Marilyn Francis Carrol Long, 76, of Mt. Pleasant passed away, August 1, 2022 at Atrium-Cabarrus following a brief illness.

Memorial service will be held 3pm, Friday August 5, at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant officiated by Rev. Steve Ayers. The Long family will receive friends following the service.

Marilyn was born April 30, 1946 in Miami-Dade County Florida to the late Lonnie and Lillian Cauley Carrol. Most of her working life she spent as a teller in the banking industry. She liked collecting furniture and art; she also enjoyed travelling and all family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Long; daughter Karen; sons, Jerry, Jr., Richard (Cindy) and Daniel (Michelle) and grandchildren Kyle and Adam.
