Lorene Barnhardt Faggart

Lorene Barnhardt Faggart, 74, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday December 13, 2022 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Funeral services will be held 12noon, Monday December 19, at Lutheran Chapel Church, 135 Eudy Rd., China Grove NC 28023, officiated by Rev. John Tucker. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The Faggart family will receive friends from 10-12 prior to the service.

Lorene was born in Rowan County, May 21, 1948 to the late Hubert and Ethel Poston Barnhardt. She was a long time member of Lutheran Chapel. Lorene was a 1966 graduate of South Rowan High School. She worked for many years in office supply sales. She was a lover of all animals, especially cats. Lorene was also very crafty, creating many cross-stitch pieces and tole paintings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Gerald Barnhardt and sister in law Dian Barnhardt.

She is survived by her daughter Shelly Earnhardt and husband Brent of Mt. Pleasant; sisters Yvonne Harrington and husband Wayne of Kannapolis and Elaine Yost of Salisbury; grandson Dalton Earnhardt; and longtime companion Larry Hammill.
