Larry Bost

Mr. Larry Dale Bost, 51 of Rimer Rd., Rockwell, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at his residence. Memorial service will be 2:00pm Friday at Victory Temple officiated by Rev. Gary Posey, burial will follow at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery. The Bost family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00pm prior to the service at Victory Temple. Mr. Bost was born September 4, 1959 in Cabarrus County son of Shirley Howard Bost and the late Ben Bost. He was a US Navy Veteran and a commercial electrician with ELDECO. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying deer hunting and fishing; he also enjoyed NASCAR, and loved children. In addition to his mother Shirley H. Bost he is survived by two brothers, David L. Bost and wife Patricia of Independence, VA, and Michael Bost and wife Elizabeth of Concord, two sisters, Debra E. Collins of State Road, NC and Karen Carter and husband Johnnie of Concord, five nieces and four nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to all who helped on Tuesday morning, especially, Rimer Volunteer Fire Department, Cabarrus County Sheriffs Department, Cabarrus County EMS and Cabarrus Rescue. The family would like memorials to any of the above mentioned.
