Lana Grant Hammill

Lana Sue Grant Hammill, 70, of Gold Hill passed away, Tuesday July 30, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. 

Funeral services will be held 3:30pm Friday August 2nd, at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant officiated by Rev. Jeff Medford. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Gold Hill. The Hammill family will receive friends from 2-3:30 prior to the service.

Lana was born December 19, 1953 in Cabarrus County to the late Walter and Annie Griffin Grant. She attended Impact Church in Concord. She loved working with flowers and cherished her time spent with friends and family. Lana most especially treasured time spent with her beloved grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Cary Grant Hammill. 

She is survived by her husband Kelley; son Steven “Flash” Hammill (Brenda Bass); daughter Shannon Hammill Sechler; grandchildren Lily and Lane Sechler; and sister Teresa Grant Robbins (Bill).
