Joyce Hinson Lambert

Joyce Mae Hinson Lambert, 90, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, February 9, 2022.

The Lambert family will receive friends from 2-3pm Saturday, Feburary 12^th at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Graveside service will be held following the visitation, at Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Joyce was born April 21, 1931 in Stanly County to the late Arthur and Essie Mae Tucker Hinson. She loved to dress up and dance. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Robert “Odell” Lambert; siblings Banks Hinson, Seburn Hinson, Ruby Earnhardt, Ramelle Reagan, Willene Belvin and grandson-in-law Wayne Griffin.

She is survived by her son Roger “Doc” Lambert and his wife Kathy; granddaughters, Candy Griffin and Tara Hudson (Todd); great grandsons Michael Griffin (Hayven) and Christopher Hudson; and a great great granddaughter Adaline Griffin.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Joyce’s honor may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
