Joe Douglas "Doug" Rinehardt

Joe Douglas “Doug” Rinehardt, 62, passed away, October 17, 2022 at Atrium Cabarrus.

Funeral service will be 11:00am Friday, at Friendship United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Duane Jarmon, burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Rinehardt family will receive friends from 5-7pm Thursday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.

Doug was born September 2, 1960 in Cabarrus County, son of Phyllis Lowder Rinehardt and the late J.C. Rinehardt. He was a 1978 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. He was retired from the City of Concord. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, coaching softball and most of all spending time with his grandsons.

In addition to his mother Phyllis, he is survived by his wife, Kimberly Lawing Rinehardt; daughter, Whitney Grimm (Chad); brothers, Chris and Randy Rinehardt; grandsons Cole and Weston.
