Joe Rinehardt

Mr. Joe Charles "JC" Rinehardt, age 81 of Rimer Rd., Rockwell, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at CMC-Northeast. Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday, July 13, at Friendship United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Roger Armistead, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rinehardt family will receive friends from 9:30-10:45 prior to the funeral service at the church. Mr. Rinehardt was born December 5, 1931 in Cabarrus County son of the late Joe M. Rinehardt and Annie Belle Scott Rinehardt. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. He was retired from the construction industry and was a US Marine Corps veteran serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by a brother Larry Rinehardt. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Funderburk Rinehardt, three sons, Doug Rinehardt and wife Kim, Chris Rinehardt and Randy Rinehardt, granddaughter, Whitney Grimm and husband Chad, great grandchildren, Cole and Weston Grimm, step sons, Felix Santana and Joseph Santana, step daughter, Jackie Misenheimer and his canine companion, Tippy.
