Jared Starnes

Jared Michael Starnes, 38 of New London, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be private. Jared was born January 26, 1975 in Mecklenburg County, son of Jack Starnes and Rhonda Jones Starnes. He was a mechanic for the City of Charlotte. Jared was an avid outdoorsman. He was an amazing son, brother, he loved his family and was a selfless and giving man. He was preceded in death by a sister Leah Starnes. He is survived by his parents, Jack C. Starnes and Rhonda Jones Starnes, brothers, Brandon Lee Starnes, Garrett Jackson Starnes and Mitchell Miller Starnes, maternal grandparents, Randy and Bobby Hodges. Gordon Funeral Home of Mt.
