Janice Carpenter

Mrs. Janice Fisher Carpenter, 60, of Ridgecrest Rd., Locust, died Friday, June 24, 2011 at CMC-Northeast. Funeral service will be 3:00pm Sunday at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Roger Bostic; burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. The Carpenter family will receive friends for 2-3 prior to the service, at the church. Mrs. Carpenter was born January 13, 1951 in Cabarrus County daughter of the late Grady Lee Fisher and Rachel Marie Blackwelder Fisher. She was a member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Calvin Carpenter, sons Allen Carpenter and Billy Carpenter, daughter Rebecca Furr, brothers, David and Dennis Fisher, sister, Diane Vanover, fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
