Jimmy", born to James C. Fisher, Jr. and Diane Mullis Fisher on May 30th, 1961 in Raleigh, NC passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 24th and has gone to be with the Lord. He was baptized into the Christian faith at an early age. During his youth, Jimmy was very involved in athletics and outdoor activities such as football, basketball, baseball, kayaking, canoeing and camping. He also enjoyed the YMCA Indian Guides program with his father and brothers. In high school, Jimmy was a good student academically and excelled in football and wrestling to such an extent that he was invited to and attended Davidson Football camp. Following high school, Jimmy attended CPCC and worked with Air Corporation in Charlotte and later with TAF Safety.
Jimmy enjoyed all athletic events and supported his niece and nephew and many friends by attending their practices and games. He was renowned as the #1 fan from several associations. His favorite pastime was spending time with his large extended family and friends. He also loved to discuss world history, all things 80's, and religion. Jimmy looked forward to family reunions, holidays and any event where he was able to have fellowship and give to others. He loved and adored his mother and (late) father; everyday he made sure his mom was taken care of by running her errands, cleaning her home, companionship and telling her "I love you" every single day.
Jimmy, all your family and friends love you and will dearly miss you. Thank you for 53 years of sharing your joy with others and just being you. You truly had a heart of gold.
Jimmy is survived by his mother, Diane, brothers Todd and Danny, sister-in-law Elizabeth, niece Zoē and nephew Luke as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and valued friends.
