Herman Johnson Pressley, Jr.

Herman “Peanut” Johnson Pressley, Jr., 48, of Salisbury passed away Friday October 20th, 2023 at Tucker Hospice House. 

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 3pm, Sunday October 29, 2023 at Miami Baptist Church with Rev. Lewis Whittington officiating. The Pressley family will receive friends from 2-3 prior to the service.

Mr. Pressley was born April 6, 1975 in Union County to Herman Johnson Pressley Sr and Carolyn McGuire Pressley. He was preceded into death by his father, Herman Johnson Pressley Sr. and his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth McGuire. 

He is survived by his wife Vonda Pressley; mother, Carolyn McGuire Pressley; stepchildren, Ashley Hurlocker (TJ), Molly Hilton (Brandi), and Jason Hilton (Stephanie); grandchildren, Grayson, Owen, Kinslee, Jaycee, Aubrey, Anna, and Kylie; sister Rachel Hinson (James); niece Rebecca Parker (Dontae); also by many cousins which loved him deeply.

The family would like to especially thank Herman's in laws, Jay and Faye Honeycutt for their help in caring for him.
