Harry Doner Smith

Harry Doner Smith, Jr., 61 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 at CMC-Northeast. Graveside service will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Mission Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Roxanne Almond. The family will greet friends following the graveside service. Mr. Smith was born February 22, 1953 in Cabarrus County son of the late Harry D. Smith, Sr. and Naomi Smith. He attended Mission Baptist Church. He was a short wave radio enthusiast, an avid fisherman, and enjoyed his travels out west on his motorcycle. His surviving relatives are Bernie Smith, Shirley and Reece Furr, David and Denise Smith, Jerry and Margaret Petrea, Jerald and Sharon Smith, Elaine Smith, Eric and Sandy Smith, Billy and Annie Smith, Steve and Marie Smith, Susan and Fred Eudy, Jack Furr, Judy Furr and Debbie Furr and Charles and Becky Ludwig.
