George Bost

George Herman Bost, 75 of Bridge Rd., Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at CMC-Northeast. Funeral service will be 11:00am Friday at Bethel (Bear Creek) United Church of Christ; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Bost family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday evening at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Bost was born October 19, 1936 in Cabarrus County son of the late Gilmer Jack Bost and Lillie Shoe Bost. He was a member of Bethel (Bear Creek) United Church of Christ. He was a crane operator for Parker Crane Service and a US Army Veteran. He loved to restore and refurbish old tractors. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Bost and a sister Peggy Ogburn. He is survived by two daughters, Sherri B. Little and Beth B. Eudy and husband Carl, brothers, Brown Bost and Gilmer Jackie Bost, sisters, Betty Isenhour and Rachel Harrison, four grandchildren, Wesley Little, Rebecca Little, Brittany and Whitney Eudy.
