George Garrison Biggerstaff

The family of George Garrison Biggerstaff of Mount Pleasant, NC is saddened to announce his passing on Sunday October 13, 2024, at the age of 84 years.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years and love of his life Josephine Marie Biggerstaff (nee Bunch), four children, son, Joseph (Victoria) Januchowski and their children Khristen (Jeffry) Snow, Joseph (Anna) Januchowski Jr., James (Britney) Januchowski, and Timothy (Kayla) Januchowski; son, William (Ruth) Januchowski; daughter, Monica (Michael) Elliott, and their son Brian Elliott and her daughter with Donnie, Jaclyn Bernard (nee Lutrell); and daughter, Rebecca (Harvey) Brewer and their children Tecumseh Brewer and Raven Brewer; ten Great-Grandchildren Aidan, Evan, Camdin, and their mother Sarah, Rayden, Alex, Allie, Riley, Brayden, Bryan, and Benjamin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is predeceased by his father, Green Columbus Biggerstaff, mother, Francis Pegg (nee Sprinkle), and sisters, Barbara Biggerstaff and Marilyn Blue (nee Pegg); he is survived by three brothers, Douglas Biggerstaff, Joseph Biggerstaff, and Jimmy Pegg, and two sisters, Gail Patterson (nee Biggerstaff) and Dianne Burnette (nee Pegg).

He was born on March 31, 1940, in Marion, NC. He was an Army veteran and enjoyed reading his Bible, listening to music, fishing, going to concerts, and spending time with family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
