Frank Augustus James

Frank A. James, 95, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, December 18, 2023, at Pruitt Health Town Center, Harrisburg.

Funeral service will be 12:30pm, Friday, December 22, 2023 at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church Sanctuary officiated by Rev. Earl Bradshaw. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The James will receive friends beginning at 11:00am in the MPMC Lighthouse.

Mr. James was born January 21, 1928 in Cabarrus County son of the late V.P. James and Nina Shue James. He was a lifelong member of Mount Pleasant Methodist Church. He was an avid gardener and loved his old cars, especially his Mercedes. He was preceded in death by brothers & sisters, P.J. James, Ray James, Hoyle James, Robert James, Sarah J. Burleyson, Alma J. Phelps, Elaine J. Hill and Geraldine White.

He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Cauble (Dolan) and Vicki Almany (Larry); son Mike James (Gina); sisters Margaret Boger and Nancy Humphrey (Joel); seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
