Frances Virginia Eudy Goodman

Frances Virginia Eudy Goodman, 78, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Friday, November 15, 2019 at her residence.

Funeral service will be 3:00pm, Sunday, Nov 17, at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, officiated by Rev. Kenny Wallace. Burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Wesleyan Church Cemetery. The Goodman family will receive friends beginning at 2pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Goodman was born February 23, 1941 in Stanly County, daughter of the late Carlie Lee and Virginia Whitley Eudy. She was retired from Cannon Mills and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Ray Goodman, daughters, Sheila Herrin Eudy and Tammy Herrin Belk; brothers, Kent Eudy, Norman Eudy and a sister Linda Coble and great granddaughter Alyssa Lee Honeycutt.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Leigh (Phil) of Mt. Pleasant, Sharon Honeycutt of Locust and Ricky Goodman (Katie) of Kannapolis; brothers, Gerald Eudy of Concord, Reggie Eudy of Endy and Terry Eudy (Janice) of Oakboro, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and her beloved Chihuahua Roxy.
