Elizabeth (Beth) Miller King died on the 14th of July, 2020 at her home. Born on September 8th 1959 in Alamance County, Elizabeth lost her battle with breast cancer after a nine-year fight. She is survived by her loving husband, James Bradley (Brad) King, daughter, Ashley Smith Mulhausen and husband John, and son, Lewis Holden Smith. She was the daughter of Evanell Moore Miller and Charles Edmund Miller, both deceased. Other survivors include parents Bill and Jo King, a sister, Anne Miller McDowell, two grandchildren, Lyla B. Mulhausen and Evelyn E. Mulhausen, special nieces, Amber M. Evans and Abigail L. McDowell and nephew, Wesley Blake Evans, deceased. Stepchildren, Taylor B. King, Caroline K. King, and Hunter W. King. Pets are Grady, Lucy, Ricky, and Piper. Brad was her rock and took incredible care of her during her illness. Elizabeth loved to travel and Brad took her to her bucket list destinations of Bora Bora, French Polynesia, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, all over the Caribbean, and over 30 cruises around the world. They loved to travel and experience life. Brad was the best husband in the world and she was so thankful to have been his wife. Elizabeth was a Senior Advisory Software Engineer with a long career of 39 plus years which started with Electronic Data Systems in Dallas, TX, and continued with Fiserv. Elizabeth was a graduate of Graham High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Feline Urgent Rescue and Rehab (FURR), P.O. Box 1164, Hampstead, NC 28443. Special thanks to Elizabeth’s medical team at Novant Cancer Specialists led by Dr. Lance K. Lassiter, as well as her amazing team of support – Jennifer S, Brooke, Sarah, Allison, and all the other amazing people who took care of her for all those years. Also, a special thank you to Dr. Ben Park of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, formally of Johns Hopkins Hospital for years consultation and support.
