Edward Wayne Ritch

Edward Wayne Ritch, 69, of Concord, passed away, Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Atrium Health-Main.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Gordon Funeral Home; officiated by Rev. Ronald Hartman. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Concord. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 prior to the service.

Mr. Ritch was born April 10, 1954 in Cabarrus County, son of the late Edward Monroe Ritch and Frances Green Ritch. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and attended The Refuge Church. He enjoyed working on cars, muscle cars, drag racing and playing softball. Most of all he loved playing ball with his grandsons. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother in law David Bare.

He is survived by his wife Gail Whitley Ritch, daughter, Alisha Harris (Scott); brother, Donald Ritch (Marion); sister, Dollie Bare; grandsons Avery and Caleb.
