Doshia Beaver Shoe

Mrs. Doshia Beaver Shoe, age 95, of 6755 Hwy. 73, Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at her home. Funeral service will be 3:00pm Sunday at Gordon Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Bill Nix. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens. The Shoe family will receive friends from 2-3pm Sunday afternoon at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Shoe was born October 19, 1921 in Rowan County daughter of the late Robert L. Beaver and Margaret Miller Beaver. She was retired from Cannon Mills and enjoyed growing flowers and a garden, fishing and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren . She also was a member of Glorieta Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl K. Shoe also by a son Earl Frank Shoe, brothers and sisters, Cora, Elmer, Harry, Walt, Clifford, Lola, Cleo and Hester. She is survived by; a son Gary Shoe and wife Linda of Concord; daughters, Ervine Shoe of the home, Patty Smith and husband Milton of Gastonia, NC, Pamela Amburgey and husband Bobby of Concord, and Joyce Mullis and husband Randy of Mt. Pleasant; daughter in law Pat Shoe of Concord; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
