Donald "Jimmy" James Tucker

Donald “Jimmy” Tucker, age 43, of Albemarle, NC, passed away January 11, 2023 peacefully, surrounded by family. 

Funeral services will be held 3pm, January 15 at Boger Reformed Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5pm Saturday January 14 at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.

Jimmy was born February 26^th, 1979 in Deland, Fl. Everyone loved his laugh and big personality. He was a hard worker and follower of Christ. Jimmy was active in his church, Temple Baptist, and enjoyed the fellowship. He loved to fish and spend time with his dog, Nemo. Prior to his passing, he was working as a handy man and mason, renovating homes around Wilmington, NC. He fell in love with the beach and downtown area, leading him to reside there in 2017.

Jimmy is survived by his parents Jeffrey and Gloria Konopka, his brothers; Gregory Tucker, Jeffrey Konopka, Jr., Patrick Konopka and their spouses, 7 nieces, 4 nephews and 2 great nieces. He is preceded in his death by his father Donald Tucker and grandparents.
