Della Elizabeth Foster Allmon

Della Elizabeth Foster Allmon, 90, of Mt. Pleasant passed away, Monday, February 6, 2023 surrounded by her family.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held at a later date.

Della was born in Cabarrus County, April 3, 1932 to the late Adam A. and Zoraville Thomas Foster. She retired from Concord Telephone Company where she worked many years as an operator. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. She and her late husband Wade enjoyed many nights out at fish camps, especially Jay’s in Albemarle. She also loved shopping at her favorite store Belk. Della also always had a soft spot for animals and babies. In addition to her parents and husband she is also predeceased by, sisters Elvie Joyce Foster Broadway and Beatrice Little and brothers Gene and Howard Foster.

Della was survived by a daughter Jean Allmon Lambert, who passed away, Tuesday, February 7, 2023. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
