Danny King

Mr. Danny "Cannon" Steve King, 54, of Doctor Floyd, Concord, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his residence. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Danny was born March 11, 1958 in Marion County, SC son of the late Nelson King and Evelyn Bass King. He was a HVAC technician and a electrician for Kings Heating and Cooling. He attended Friendship Bible Church; he was a volunteer at the Church of God Children's Home and enjoyed fishing. He was a US Navy Veteran. He is survived by brothers, Gregory King of Concord, and Bobby King of Kannapolis, sister Betty K. Gray of Salisbury, step mother, Dolly King of Lake View, SC, step brothers, Boyd, Johnny, Dewight, and David Deimery, step sister, Darnell Collins and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be directed to Church of God Children's Home, 3485 Orphanage Rd., Concord, NC 28025
