The Allmon family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

A Cabarrus County native, Charlie D was born September 9, 1997, the son of Charles Lee Allmon, Tina Bittle Cline and Barry Cline. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Chase Daniel Allmon; his grandparents, Charles and Lucille Allmon; and his step-grandfather, Donald Cline.

Charlie D attended Mt. Pleasant High school, and Stanly Community College. He was a member of Miami Baptist Church in Mt Pleasant. He never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went.  Including his very best friend Aaron.  He had a large personality and loved to put a smile on your face and make you laugh. Charlie loved to grill steaks, his favorite food. He enjoyed playing baseball when he was younger. As a former Boy Scout he attained the rank of life scout, spending many happy hours camping and fishing down at Jordan Lake.

Charlie D formally worked at the White Owl Antique Mall and Design Center. Everybody that met him loved him.  He loved and was excited about his new job in the salvage and core business, especially hanging out with Tim and Floyd.

In addition to his parents those left to cherish his memory are his sister Lillie Leann Allmon and her friend Mike; grandparents Junior and Linda Kay Bittle of Mt. Pleasant; step grandmother Vickie Cline of Kannapolis; two uncles Brian D. Bittle of Mt. Pleasant and James Allmon and wife Louise of Mt Pleasant. Charlie D. will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Especially his furry pet Hoover.
