Catherine Irene Culp

Catherine Irene Culp., 71, of Concord passed away June 6, 2023 at Atrium Health-Main.

Graveside service will be held 3pm Saturday, June 10 at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Faye McRorie. The Culp family will receive friends from 1-2:45 prior to the service at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant.

Mrs. Culp was born in Cabarrus County, September 21, 1951 to the late Howard Baxter and Margie Burleson Mullis. During her life she worked in the shipping department at Cannon Mills as well as the buildings and maintenance department for the City of Concord. She enjoyed being outside, especially planting and harvesting her garden. She was a mother to everyone, giving her advice to any and every one. She was preceded in death by her husband Lex Milton Culp, Jr. in 2020.

She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Marie Culp; son Dustin Baxter Mullis and wife Rebekah; brothers, Silas Mullis, Howard Mullis and wife Saundra and Ricky Mullis; and grandson Emmett Lex Mullis.
