Cary Hammill

Cary Grant Hammill, 36, of Gold Hill, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Tucker Hospice House. Funeral service will be 10:00am Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Gordon Funeral Home officiated Rev. Donna Wise; burial will follow at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Hammill family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Hammill was born December 31, 1977 in Cabarrus County, son of Walter Kelley Hammill and Lana Grant Hammill. In his childhood and early life he attended Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He worked as a truck driver of JO Flowe Grading. He also enjoyed spending time on his computer. In addition to his parents Kelley and Lana Hammill he is survived by a brother Steven Hammill, a sister Shannon Sechler and husband Phillip Scott Sechler, maternal grandmother, Elizabeth "Lib" Hammill, niece and nephew, Lily and Lane Sechler all of Gold Hill.
