Carolyn Darlene Lee

Carolyn Darlene Moore Lee, 89, of Concord passed away Tuesday February 6, 2024 at Morningside Assisted Living.

Graveside service will be held 3pm Tuesday February 13 at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Wes Judy.

Darlene was born in Cabarrus County, September 16, 1934 to the late Harley and Azalea Ballard Moore.  She was a member of Forest Hill Methodist Church. For many years Darlene worked at the A & P Grocery in Concord where she met many people and enjoyed the friendships.  She loved spending time working in her yard and took tremendous pride in her gardens and flowerbeds. This led to another hobby of shopping for just the right treasure to add to her garden décor.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Lee and daughter-in-law Robin Honeycutt Lee.

She is survived by her sons, Randy Lee and Barry Lee and wife Susan; grandchildren Brent Lee and wife Heather, Rebekah Lee Mullis and husband Dustin and Rachel Lee Long and husband Zach; great grandchildren Keaton and Tatum Lee, Emmett Mullis and Keegan Long.
