Carol Sue Isenhour

Carol Sue Isenhour, 79, of Concord passed away Tuesday March 5, 2024 at her home. 

Funeral services will be held 3pm Sunday March 10, at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church (Sanctuary) officiated by Rev. Natalie Whitley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will lie in state in the sanctuary from 1:30-3pm and her family will receive friends prior to the service in the Lighthouse. 

Carol was born in Cabarrus County, January 24, 1945. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church where she served on many committees, active in the women’s fellowship, sang in the choir, and volunteered regularly. Carol was also a baker, sharing her cakes and pies with family and friends, and selling for church fundraisers. Carol was also an avid walker, not only for her health but also for causes such as Breast Cancer Awareness. She was preceded in death by her mother Ada Rose Helms Howard and a daughter Crystal Isenhour. 

She is survived by her aunt Peggy Helms; cousin and caregiver Dawn Gledhill and many other cousins.
