Bruce Alexander Cartner

Bruce Alexander Cartner, 75, of Mt. Pleasant, NC, passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Tucker Hospice House. He was born January 9, 1941, in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Harold H. Cartner and Ruth Muse Cartner. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda Lee Cartner. Bruce is survived by his son, Carey A. Cartner of Albemarle, NC; his daughter, Tracy D. Cartner of Mt. Pleasant, NC; his son, Joseph B. Cartner (Beth) of Concord, NC; his son, Joshua H. Cartner (Tiffany) of Concord, NC and Kim Cartner of Concord, NC. He was a cherished grandfather to Morgan A. Henriquez (David), Jacob A. Cartner, Brianna G. Cartner, Clayton N. Cartner, Joshua L. Cartner, and Nicholas I. Cartner. Bruce was blessed with two wonderful great grandchildren, Dominic and Mia Henriquez. A reception honoring his life will be held at his home, 10530 Mt. Olive Estates Drive, Mt. Pleasant, NC on December 31, 2016, from 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, NC.
