Bonnie Faye Maxwell

Bonnie Faye Strickland Maxwell, 76 of Albemarle, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, February 21, 2019 at Atrium Health-Stanly.

A reception to celebrate Faye’s life will be Wednesday, Feb. 27th from 5-7pm at the Krimminger Fellowship Hall at Cold Springs United Methodist Church, 2550 Cold Springs Rd., Concord.

Faye was born February 16, 1943 in Horry County, SC daughter of the late Franklin Pierce Strickland and Reba Lee Strickland. She was a member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and sang in the choir. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Lioness Club and enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels. She was preceded in death by her husband A. Luther Maxwell, Sr. and a daughter, Shanda Denise Stuckey.

She is survived by daughters, Sonia Faye Cassels and Cynthia Isenhour; sister Barbara Robertson (Robert); grandchildren Katelyn Maxwell, Kayla Stuckey and Shonda Whitley; great-grandchild, Grayson Watts; and two nieces.
