Billy Wayne Morton

Billy Wayne Morton, 77, of Concord, passed away, Friday, July 26, 2019.

Billy was born December 25, 1941 in Cabarrus County son of the late Hoyle Morton and Nadine Dorton Morton. Over the years he had worked many different jobs but most would remember his work at Troutman’s 601 restaurant. Those who knew Billy, knew he was the life of the party. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Angie and Leah Morton and is survived by their mother Barbara Morton.

He is also survived by his sister Gail Scott and husband Terry; nephew, Chad Scott; niece Christy Wooley; great nephews, Holden and Sawyer Icenhour.

A visitation for Billy will be Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant, from 6-8pm.
